JAZZ WORKSHOPS BY MIKE ROSSI

Renowned American saxophonist Professor Mike Rossi (from UCT) will be featuring as a special guest at the NMMU Music Department jazz concert on the 8 September (which is a component of the Department’s 50th year birthday celebrations). Mike’s visit is made possible by the generous sponsorship that has been provided by the South African Association for Jazz Education (SAJE) and, in this regard, he will also be facilitating several jazz workshops.

The first workshop will take place on Friday 7 October from 11h00 to 13h00 in the South Campus Auditorium. All instrumentalists are welcome.

The second workshop will be held at the Bird Street Conservatoire between 14h00 and 16h00 and will be more specific to saxophonists.

Both workshops are free and everyone is welcome to attend. Please bring your instruments.
