President Jacob Zuma has appointed Neo Momodu as a member of the Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA) board for a period of three years, the Presidency said on Tuesday.

Momodu is the current chairperson of the print media industry organisation, Print and Digital Media South Africa.

“She has a vast knowledge and experience in the media and communication industry both in government and private sector,” said the Presidency.

“President Zuma wishes Momodu all the best in her new responsibility.”

The MDDA is a development agency set up as a partnership between the South African government and major print and broadcasting companies to assist in developing the community and small commercial media in South Africa
